Outdoor Sunrise Yoga

Saturday, July 17th I will be hosting a Sunrise Yoga class outside my house from 6:30am - 9:00am. There will be a one and half hour yoga class, 15 minute meditation and then bagels and beverages to enjoy after Yoga.

All levels are welcome, some yoga experience necessary. Please bring your own mat and any props you would like (blocks, straps, blanket, etc.)

Level 1 and Level 2 Spring Forest Qigong

This medical Qigong works with the body's energy (Qi). When the Qi becomes blocked in the body, sickness, pain and other health problems may occur. Through simple breathing, sounds, movements and meditation, you will learn to remove blockages and balance the body's energy so that it can heal. Qigong heals the whole body – mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. These techniques can relieve physical pain, reduce stress, depression and address many other health concerns. SFQ also works well with modern day medicine.

LEVEL 1

Class will cover:  history of Qigong; general principles of Qigong; energy channels and meridians; 4 key elements of Qigong; Qi breathing; yin/yang philosophy; 6 causes of energy blockages; 6 keys to success; "Sword Finger technique" to help others; 6 active exercises to help balance and heal the body; Small Universe - the most powerful exercise in SFQ.

TIME: 6:30-9:00 PM
FEE:  $75 includes Level One Manual ($16)

Qi-ssage Class

June 26 or July 17 or September 25 from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM

This is a fun class and a hands on experience. Developed by Master Chunyi Lin, Qi-ssage is used to activate the flow of energy throughout the body to promote healing. Qi-ssage uses both the energy principles of Qigong and the touching and physical stimulation of massage. Key energy points are stimulated with gentle touch, in a specific order to open energy channels and restore the flow of energy.

There will be plenty of time to practice on each other. Any one can learn it and it is a wonderful gift to share with yourself or your loved ones. Helps with headaches, digestion, heart, lung and liver issues, relaxes and vitalizes the body. You will love it.

Fee: $55 ($50 each for couples)

Yoga for Kids Workshop

Yoga for Kids is a fun, playful class where kids can move energy through their bodies and bring calm into their minds.  This workshop is excellent for building self-esteem, strength, body awareness, flexibility, relieving stress and helping find balance in busy and active lives.  Mats will be provided. Wear comfortable clothing. No special shoes needed as we practice barefoot.
Fee:  $10/per child; Maximum 10 students

Fibromyalgia, Arthritis, Chronic Pain Workshop

Yoga and Qigong have been proven to provide effective relief for fibromyalgia, arthritis, and chronic pain.  Learn how to help oxygenate your cells, loosen and stretch those painful joints and muscles with Yoga and Qigong.  We will help you get back in touch with your body through breathing, gentle movement and relaxation/meditation.  Find out what yoga poses can help you and how Qigong can use the gifts within your body to move energy to bring healing.
