Upon their first visit to Way to Yoga, most students immediately comment on how our studio makes them feel. There is a big difference from the feeling of our studio versus a fitness center or gym.
We’ve worked hard to make Way to Yoga embody the calming power of yoga. When you walk in the front door you will be greeted by a décor of soft colors, a sitting area and soft lighting. The studio is a quiet place with soothing music playing as well as the sounds of trickling water. An escape from the hectic pace of life. Students have the choice of practicing on a wood floor or a carpeted area.
While these surroundings help bring you to a quiet, relaxed place, don’t be fooled into thinking yoga is an easy workout. You will quickly learn that yoga is not for wimps. You can challenge your body to build muscles and increase flexibility beyond what you thought you were capable of. All this comes to you through a practice that teaches how to respect your body by learning to listen to the signals it sends. You will strengthen the connection between your mind and body.
Please come try a class at our studio, so you can enjoy the feeling that true yoga is meant to have on your body. Learn a centering and grounding practice that will improve the quality of your life and change habits that you have unknowingly created which are detrimental to your health.
